Cristiano Ronaldo puts his mark in a goal-scoring spree record

Cristiano Ronaldo is a soccer star endowed by football lovers, loved and hated by the soccer world in equal measures for divergent reasons.

But that does not bar him from doing his thing, the criticism has instead been pushing him to do crazy football and reaching heights that no other player has done.

Christiano Ronaldo is known for fighting for his team till the last minute which was witnessed during the Champions League with Athletico Madrid where he scored to take his side to the last eight.

He was later recorded saying he was bought by Juve to do such.

During yesterdays clash with their league rivals, Juventus bounced back from an early setback to claim a draw against Inter Milan at the San Siro as Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 600th career goal.

InterMilan’s Radja Nainggolan fired the first goal for his side into the lead with a stunner after just seven minutes when Nainggolan found the net with a superb volley from range which beat Szczesny despite the Juventus goalkeeper getting a hand to the ball as the champions Juventus looked sluggish after claiming the title last week.

The Belgian midfielder lashed home an excellent volley to put the hosts ahead.

Juve was sluggish for most of the first half and the second one but drew level through Ronaldo who now leads in the most scored goals in any footballer’s career.

The visitors started strongly after the restart but were made to wait until the 62nd minute before drawing level when Pjanic combined smartly with Ronaldo who netted his 600th goal in all club competitions to earn the champions a point in the Derby d’Italia.

CR7’s closest rival in the game Lionel Messi of Barcelona has scored 598 goals but he has played lesser matches than his compatriot Ronaldo.
