The ‘Kiboko’ hitmaker, Masauti, trembled the music industry with his remix which he featured Mr. International, Khaligraph Jones. The remix gained more fame compared to the original song.
It is also the song which gave him more views compared to his previous songs. During an interview, he talked out on how he met the king of rap and how he convinced him into the remix.
Masauti has been working under producer Motive and it is through him that he got to meet Khaligraph. He had always asked his producer to connect him with Khaligraph and hoped that one day the dream would come true.
Motive would discuss the issue with Khaligraph since they are great friends but didn’t let Masauti know about it. By then, Masauti was in Nairobi after leaving Mombasa to work on music.
On the lucky day, Khaligraph called producer Motive and told him that he would like to do a remix to Masauti’s song, ‘Kiboko’. They first tried doing the original song together but it didn’t please the OG.
On trying the remix, he liked it most and that is how they ended up having the collabo together. Masauti said that it was a dream come true since he had always wanted to work with the ‘Superman’ hitmaker.
