Education CS Prof George Magoha has revealed that the ministry program on the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) training was 99% successful.
This was after teachers from different parts of the country defied their unions call to boycott the Sh. 500million exercise.
Prof Magoha speaking at a summative press conference on the CBC teacher training at Lake Primary school, Kisumu said that 91,000 teachers were trained out of 91,320 targeted.
The Kenya National Union of Teachers had (Knut) had asked their members to boycott the four-day training to equip them with skills and knowledge on the CBC terming it illegal.
