Siaya Senator James Orengo is the latest social media sensation in Kenya. This is after a photo of him posing for a photo with other leaders in Kabarak emerged online.

In the photo, Orengo seems to be wearing a “baggy” suit after he wrongly buttoned it before posing for a photo.

Kenyans quickly started sharing the photo with some claiming it is the new swag in town, others saying they need a suit like that while others claiming Orengo is now old and he needs to retire from politics and go and rest.

Many also associated Orengo’s confusion with the current confusion in his Orange party just after being ‘swallowed’ by Jubilee party in March 2018. Orengo was in Kabarak at the home of former president Daniel Moi to condole with his(Moi) family following the death of Jonathan Moi.

Orengo was accompanied by Senate speaker Ken Lusaka, Nakuru senator Susan Kihika, Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya among other elders. The leaders were, however, denied a chance to meet the retired president Daniel Moi after it emerged that some of the leaders who visited were Allies of the Deputy President William Ruto.

Ruto and Gideon are not seeing each other eye to eye for the obvious 2022 political reasons with each trying to control the rich Rift Valley vote.
