Firebrand self-proclaimed NRM General Miguna Miguna has claimed that Raila Odinga is behind the woes of former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero.
Kidero was arrested on Friday morning by EACC detectives, and will spend the weekend behind bars for the second time in less than one year.
According to DPP Noordin Haji, the former governor allegedly fraudulently paid sh68 million to a law firm during his tenure at city hall.
But Miguna believes all this is just foul play to frustrate Kidero because he is viewed as a threat to Raila’s stranglehold of Luo politics.
Miguna claims that Migori governor Okoth Obado is facing the same problems.
Obado spent more than one month in prison between September and October last year over the murder of his girlfriend Sharon Otieno. He was also arrested in December and charged with illegal possession of firearms.
“Evans Kidero and Okoth Obado have been charged because @RailaOdinga consider them potential threats to a theocratic Luo state headed by Odinga zombies.” Miguna said on his Twitter handle.
The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant said that if EACC was targeting corruption, then Moi and Waiguru would also be in custody.
During the 2017 campaigns, Miguna accused Kidero of looting billions of money from the County government coffers.
