Enough Proof that MP Tim Wetangula is cut from Different Cloth

The word ‘Kenyan politician’, brings about various images of hooligans, people filled with rage and selfish gains. It is surprising that not all politicians fall under the same catalogue.

Some are dedicated in what they do, like representing their constituents, being there for each other.

Westlands MP Timothy Wetangula, is a rare member of Parliament. Tim did the unthinkable over the past weekend when he visited Mr Okoth. It was paramount for friends to continue visiting and encouraging him to fight hard.

The second term ODM Kibra MP is undergoing treatment at a Paris hospital and first made his cancer condition few months ago. He said he was in Stage Four, which is considered as most delicate. Okoth admits that he feels homesick due to his prolonged absence from the country.

On Wednesday, Okoth admitted that his prolonged absence is making him nostalgic, adding that such effects are however minimized through friends who visit him.

“Thank you my big brother and mentor @HonTimWanyonyi for dedicating this Easter weekend to cheer me up and keep me company. Was feeling homesick. You brought a sense of home to me with your visit. God bless,” wrote Mr Okoth.

Just recently, a section of social media users mistakenly reported Okoth’s death, minutes before he surfaced online to dismiss the report. He urged users to tread carefully.

Several MPs of the 12th parliament have been lost to cancer they include: lost Francis Nyenze, Grace Kipchoim and Ben Oluoch to cancer.

It would be great if most Kenyan Mps, if not all, took some notes from Tim Wanyonyi, being there for our fellow brothers and sisters would not cost us much right?

Spreading love and goodness will surely turn this would into a bearable place for all of us, don’t you agree? What do you depict from Wanyonyi and Okoth’s story?
