The greatest marathoner of the modern era as he is referred to many, Eliud Kipchonge will be out this Sunday to square it out with his rivals at the Sport in the land of the queen, London- England.

It will be a career-defining moment for the 35-year-old who will be up on it against world stars like him in the sweat drawing race involving other greats like Mo Farah,2017 London Marathon champion Daniel Wanjiru, former world record holder Wilson Kipsang and world half-marathon record holder Abraham Kiptum.

But in as much a the event will be a star stunted, all eyes will bell over Eliud who will be defending the title for the fourth round consecutively, no athlete has defended the title four times in a row.

If all goes well with the Nandi county based athlete, he will be going down in the Guinness World book of records to be the first athlete to reach that fete.

Regardless of these Kipchonge expects much competition from the four world stars who have proved their worth and strength in their former involvements in the marathon races.

Out of the 12 marathons that Kipchonge has been involved in, he has only lost his only loss being a second place behind Wilson Kipsang Kiprotich at the 2013 Berlin Marathon, where Kipsang broke the world record.
