On Thursday, SCPU detectives nabbed two suspects with a motor vehicle along Mpaka road in Parklands. The vehicle was suspected to have had a fake registration number. The suspects, Ms. Faith Harrison & Mr.Harrison Kungu, who were in possession of Documents showing different registration numbers were charged on Friday.
Police recovered some cash, UN stamp, and other items in a quick search of the vehicle. Ms. Faith Harrison claimed to be on secondment from National Treasury to County govt of Kiambu as Chief Officer Finance and Mr. Kungu claimed to be an employee of Kiambu County.
However, the suspects denied ownership of the cash found in the vehicle prompting the police to carry out further investigations.
Investigations are still ongoing.
