Ruto Gives Beatrice Kones a Shoulder To Cry On During Her Darkest Moment

Deputy President William is certainly a man who can be counted on especially by his friends during their trying moments.

Ruto has never shyed away from showing to the world his human side. This is a man you will find in churches presiding over fund raisers, you will find him feeding the less fortunate, you will find him visiting the sick and of course you will find him comforting those drowned into mourning just like he did yesterday.

The Country’s second in command took time off his busy schedule to visit and mourn with the Family of Jonathan Moi at their rural home in Baringo. Ruto later made his way to Molo, Nakuru County to condole with the family of Bomet East MP, Beatrice Kones following the death of her daughter, Vicky Chebet.

The late Vicky is daughter to former Cabinet minister, the late Kipkalya Kones .

After her death, her family, through her brother Kevin Kones said that she had been unwell but her condition worsened last week on Tuesday. She was rushed to hospital where the doctors tried to stabilise her but, unfortunately, she did not make it.

DP Ruto took time to euologize the late Vicky as a vivacious, charitable and affectionate young lady who was trustworthy, reliable and did not shy away from making hard decisions.

“Our thoughts and sympathies during this trying time,” Said Ruto.

Vicky’s death is another big blow to the Kones family as it comes almost two months after her brother Collins Kipyegon Kalya, 39, passed away.
