Death they say is not the opposite of life, but a part of it. With this in mind, it is clearly evident that this monster called death does not spare anyone be it the rich or the poor.

Otherwise, if it did, i guess Jonathan Moi, with all the wealth his family had would have still been alive.

Jonathan succumbed to cancer at a Nakuru hospital.

Following his death, a number of Key political leaders from President Kenyatta, DP William Ruto and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga all condoled with the Moi family as they celebrated the life of Jonathan. Many referred to him as a down to earth and kind man. His exploits in the Safari Rally world also did not go unnoticed.

A number of leaders have been visiting President Moi’s home in Kabarak to condole with him during this trying moments. The first to do so was President Kenyatta.

However, his Deputy, William Ruto decided to go to Jonathan’s home in Baringo and not Moi’s Kabarak.

Ruto Visited the family of Jonathan Moi in Kabimoi, Baringo County.

While addressing mourners at the home, Ruto recalled the death of his brother Harrison Kiptoo who succumbed to cancer just like Jonathan.

Ruto’s brother died of kidney cancer in 2016 after it he was diagnosed at an advanced stage of the disease.

He explained that screening helps doctors to detect the disease early and helps to improve a patient’s chances of survival.

“We need to educate our people on the importance of visiting hospitals for cancer screening because, if detected in its early stages, it can be successfully treated,” Ruto emphasised.
