It turns out, not even the royal family is immune to cheating scandals! The spreading rumour is that Duke of Cambridge cheated on the Duchess with her best friend, Rose Hanbury.
Rose and the royal couple run in the same social circle. According to The Sun, Kate and Rose reportedly had a falling out. It was said that Kate had asked William to have Rose removed from their circle because she and Rose were not on good terms.
The falling out could be the reason why the rumours about the affair began, but no one knows what truly happened.
Rose Hanbury is a former model, whose paternal grandmother Lady Rose Lambert was a bridesmaid at Queen Elizabeth’s wedding to Prince Philip in 1947.
Rose is married to David Rocksavage, the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, and has three children – twins Alexander, Earl of Rocksavage and Oliver, Lord Cholmondeley, and daughter Lady Iris.
The family live at the Palladian Houghton Hall in Norfolk, very nearby to where Kate and William’s Norfolk residence.
Rose and David were also both guests (of the Queen) at William and Kate’s wedding in 2011.
