The tough Uganda legislator and singer Bobi Wine real names Robert Kyagulanyi has decided to give Uganda headache by escaping house arrest.
The legislator is said to have beaten security to escape from his mansion where he was placed under house arrest at the beginning of the week.
Police have been laying siege at the house since Monday when he was arrested as he tried to hold a music event that had been banned.
Kampala Metropolitan police are yet to confirm the escape.
The police have been maintaining tight security at the high walled house checking all entries and exits. It’s unclear whether the MP escaped during the night.
On Wednesday, he was paid a visit by Leader of Opposition Betty Aol Acan who condemned the state’s way of doing things.
He also took the opportunity to record what might be a new hit.
