The society has been monetized to an extent that no well-wisher will offer to help an orphan girl without asking for payback. Really!

Cases of relationships turning tragic have been rife in Kenya occasioned by ladies dumping men after receiving certain assistance from them.

Many women are known to be receiving different forms of favors from men.

Should ladies be indebted to men who help them rise the ladder?

This was the Wednesday morning discussion topic at a renowned radio station.

A 26-year-old woman asked for advice on how to dump a man who had educated her since she was 16 because he is not her type.

According to the woman’s long post, she is currently working as a lawyer while he is ‘just a truck driver’.

That has made her lose interest and she wonders how she can politely tell him off.

I’m a 26 year old woman and my Parents died when i was 14 years old. I dropped out of school because no one could afford to pay my fees.

I met a guy when I was 16 and he sent me back to school. He sold fruit on the street so that he could pay my school fees. He later got a job as a truck driver and sent me to University.

I am now working as a lawyer. My problem is that I feel I can’t continue with this relationship because this guy is not the type of man I would like to marry one day.

How best can I tell him that he is not my type without hurting his feelings? I want somebody in my own class, not a truck driver please help me.

In a heated discussion, ladies admonished men who usually take advantage of ladies situations.

Saying that men should refrain from helping female orphans hence later demand for sexual payback.

Men had a different opinion on this.

In responce, a twitter user identified as George Gichuki said, “There is no way you can feed a cow without expecting returns from it helping a woman who is not your mum or siz is an investment.”

What is your take on this? May we know in the comment section.
