For a long time, most Kenyans especially the less privileged population viewed Raila Odinga as their only liberator from the oppressive regime.
Many took Raila Odinga as the voice of the minority, a fearless leader who will always stop at nothing less in ensuring that the government of the day accounts for every action that it takes. Raila was accorded with respect across the country.
With the March 2018 handshake coming into being, Raila Odinga is viewed to have slowly taken a back bench as far as airing issues affecting the citizens is concerned. Raila Odinga has all over a sudden become Uhuru’s Spanner boy. He is busy dancing to the government’s tune forgetting the oppressed citizens who for a long time have been looking up to him for solutions
And as The opposition Chief lands in China together with President Kenyatta to advocate for more Chinese loans, Kenyans Online and especially on Twitter are an angry lot. Many are accusing the former Prime Minister as a traitor who only lacked an opportunity in the first place.
