Gor Mahia parade for Bandari clash

Gor Mahia’s ended their winless run with a stoppage-time winner over Bandari at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu. Hassan Oktay’s men were playing their second match in 3 days having played on Sunday against Ulinzi Stars at the same venue.

The first half was a dull affair with neither side creating clear cut chances bar one Nicolas Kikirui run that almost ended in Gor Mahia breaking the deadlock but the Bandari keeper was up to the task and kept Kikirui’s shot Out. Bandari was comfortable sitting back and absorbing Gor’s pressure and went into the break with their game plan working.
