Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen has criticized opposition Chief Raila Odinga as a bad omen in everything that he touches.
Murkomen warned President Kenyatta not to include Raila Odinga in the list of leaders who will accompany him to China for sh 368 Billion loans. The majority leader in the Senate fears that the China loan might disappear mysteriously if the Opposition chief accompanies the President to China.
Murkomen recently mocked Raila Odinga for signing Gor Mahia’s humiliating defeat by RSB Berkane. “As a Gor Mahia fan, I was heartbroken when I saw the bad omen at Kasarani Stadium. Deep inside my heart, I knew we were either going to lose the game or draw” Senator Kipchumba Murkomen said.
Kipchumba Murkomen has urged the current president of the Football Kenya Federation, Nick Mwendwa to intervene and ban Raila Odinga from attending football matches in the country.
“Sycophants will skin me alive for saying the obvious. Let’s separate the chaff from the wheat and take the bull by its horns. Gor Mahia is a great club and must refrain from associating itself with Kitendawili” Murkomen added.
The majority leader in the Senate further points out the recent by elections in Ugenya and Embakasi South stating that strong candidates in the Orange Democratic Movement lost because of Raila Odinga. He mocks ODM members for hesitating to topple Odinga’s dominance in the party .
“Little known MDG did the unthinkable in Ugenya. The habit of losing elections is spreading in the party like bushfire ” Murkomen quipped.
The Rift Valley politician, on the other hand, has urged Kenyans to support Deputy President William Ruto bid for the presidency in 2022 and shun from divisive politicians.
“It’s only William Ruto who can propel this country to another level now that his development record as a Deputy President speaks for itself” Kipchumba Murkomen stated.
