Laboso, Shollei, Namwamba and Shebesh call for end to Jubilee divisions

Some Jubilee leaders are now appealing for an end to both divisions in the party and 2022 campaigns.

In Budalang’i, Bomet Governor, Joyce Laboso, Chief Administrative Secretaries (CASs) Ababy Namwamba (Foreign Affairs) and Rachel Shebesh ((Public Service, Youth and Gender) called for cease fire among the two warring sides inside the rulling party jubilee.

The three leaders were attending a charity event in Budalang’i, Namwamba’s home area.

Dr Joyce Laboso, who said she was representing Deputy President, William Ruto appealed to the party leadership and members to close ranks.

Mr Namwamba asked that President Uhuru Kenyatta be supported, and that the same support be extended to his Deputy, William Ruto.

Ms Shebesh said that the president was doing his last term and in 2022 Jubilee would have only one candidate, DP Ruto.

In Uasin Gishu, the woman rep, Gladys Boss Shollei called for a stop to campaigns by the two Jubilee camps and focus on problems affecting Kenyans.

Ms Shollei said that the most pressing problem at the moment is the prevailing drought in the country and not baseless campaigns and ame games.
