NASA leader Raila Odinga is siding with the government on registration of Huduma Namba and Kenyans plus his supporters are not happy.
President Uhuru Kenyatta launched the National Integrated Identity Management System (Niims) two weeks ago in Machakos.
From a report, only a total of 11 million people have been listed so far. The government is targeting to register 40 million citizens by May 17.
The Huduma Namba has faced its huddles since the court barred the government from taking DNA data and GPS locations and that the process should b voluntary.
By the government is adamant and is using all means to force Kenyans to register with the controversial Huduma Namba.
On Thursday, the government under communication authority was on the spot for saying that it will switch off sim cards for those who will not have registered by May 18.
In Kisumu on Saturday, Mr Odinga noted that the system will promote accountability and efficiency in the delivery of government services.
He dismissed those against it and called on the public to turn up in large numbers for registration.
The government has been working on estimates over the years and this has made it difficult to effectively cater for the needs of people in various segments of the economy
Mr. Odinga wants the government to make it a compulsory process and Kenyans are losing it.
Raila Odinga was an active opposer of Jubilee government and always on the side of Kenyans before he was allegedly bought with Ksh 50 billion.
The angry Kenyans took it to Twitter urging Raila to eat his humble pie in peace since the opposition is dead in Kenya.
