Evert player has to have a price. Crystal Palace are open to sell Wilfried Zaha for a second time, but want £80million for their most prized asset.
Zaha gave an eye-opening interview to the Mail this weekend which clearly indicated his plans to switch clubs.
Of course, Zaha has been down this road before. And there is a growing realisation at Selhurst Park that they can no longer keep hold of the Ivory Coast international with the likelihood of their star forward leaving this summer now looking almost inevitable.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing at Man United was to land Zaha, however, the forward never cut it at Old Trafford.
After loan spells at Cardiff and Palace, Zaha eventually returned to Selhurst Park in 2015 to restart his career.
Yet, as revealed by the Mail, Zaha plans to play Champions League football:
I’m blessed to have come this far in my playing career. But I feel like there is so much more I have to offer.
I have to experience the Champions League. I just need the opportunity, that’s it. And I’ll do the rest.
