The leader of Majority in the Senate Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is now urging for the protection of the Kakamega Twins Melon and Sharon.
According to Murkomen, the plight of the twins has been overrated by the media considering that the girls and the family has not been given the protection they need.

Murkomen’s concern comes days after alot of press coverage of the twins.
However, the Director of Criminal Investigations launched a forensic investigation to establish whether there was any criminal activity involved in separating the twins at birth.
DCI took to social media appealing to families concerned to report to DCI offices in Kakamega to facilitate investigations to commence.
