A while ago, Nairobi Diaries star Bridget Achieng did a vlog a while back solely dedicated to her baby daddy. It went viral.
She named it ‘A letter to my Baby Daddy‘ where she just questioned why he left her when she got pregnant. She kept asking why he left her at the time she needed him most.
Just a few months after telling him that she is expecting his child, he vanished never to be seen or heard.
Bridget got emotional talking about her absent baby daddy, who wanted her to terminate her pregnancy, saying she has forgiven him.
“YOU ASKED ME TO TERMINATE MY PREGNANCY WHEN I WAS THREE MONTHS PREGNANT. I WAS ALL ALONE, DISTURBED AND DEPRESSED.”
She added:
I DON’T KNOW WHAT MADE YOU GO AWAY, I DON’T KNOW WHAT MADE YOU RUN AWAY. I KEPT LOOKING AT MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AND ASKING ‘I’M I UGLY?
A few months later, she has deleted the video off her YouTube platform. Probably because she did not want her son to grow up to see the pain his father caused.
Or probably the message got to the required receiver and so its use on social media was redundant.
It is very rare to see her get emotional because she considers herself a strong woman but what her baby daddy did to her seemed to have really gotten to her.
But now she seems to have made peace with everything and has moved on.
