The Former President Daniel Moi’s late son Jonathan Moi was not so much into politics unlike his brother Gideon Moi who is the Senator of Baringo County.
Jonathan Moi who has succumbed to cancer had a one time political interest throughout his life.
Jonathan wanted to vie for Eldama Ravine seat in 2002. However, he backed out last minute and chose to support Musa Sirma.
The late Jonathan Moi was so much into safari rally before also retiring from the sport.
He was also accused of being involved in the disappearance and death of Julia Ward in 1988.
Ward went missing while on holiday at Masai Mara National Game Reserve.
Jonathan’s other siblings are; Philip, Raymond, John Mark, Jenifer, June, Doris, and Gideon.
