Controversial church leader Prophet Owuor, claims it is because of him and his prayer that Kenya will be experiencing rain very soon but only if Kenyans apologise to him.
According to his followers, Owuor was in the wilderness undertaking 20 days of prayer.
He said that Kenya is experiencing drought due to the fact that people have focused on science and not God.
Owuor added that the upcoming rain expected in Kenya is because he is a “true prophet” of God and that if Kenyans apologise to him the rains will come sooner than expected.
Prophet Owuor believes he can avert the much feared drought in Kenya.
Owuor, who believes in the power of praying for rain, hopes to bring relief to the desperate situation in Kenya.
He said he was forced to step in following the outcry by Kenyans who pleaded with his office for his prayers.
He said scientists might have proclaimed that the country’s taps will go dry during the rainy season, but all that can change with God’s will.
“You see, when they did the calculations of rain they forgot to involve God. Everything happens through God,” Said Owuor.
“I do not have miracles, but through God the situation won’t have to reach zero level zone. I know God will answer.”
He said for the next 15 days, starting from Sunday, his church, Ministry of Repentance And Holiness, will start praying for an end to the drought Kenya.
In Owuor’s last famous prayer for rain on 25th, January 2017, Kenya was in the middle of a debilitating drought.
“On the same day that we prayed, the rain started. God answered our prayers.”
He said the timeline for when the rain will hit the parched Kenyan earth can’t be discussed before his meeting with God.
“God will reveal to me when He will bless the people of Kenya with rain. But that can only happen if Kenyans apologise to me first”
“I am seeing Gods judgement upon Kenya, I have talked to high profile leaders about the coming judgement for them to prepare,” said Owuor.
The “prophet” said he has been shown a strong storm that will take over Egypt, Kenya and the rest of the world if people fail to heed to Gods message.
“Just as I saw in 2005, 2006 and 2007 it was written by many and read by everyone, until it happened in 2007. I warned people will be running for their dear lives, I for-saw gun wars but people never listened till it happened” he added.
