Arsenal cruised to the semi-final after crashing Italian side, Napoli 3-0 on aggregate in the UEFA Europa Champions League.
Manchester United have Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly at the top of their shortlist ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are known to be in the market for central defensive reinforcements and Koulibaly has been a long-term target.
They are reportedly ready to splash the cash to try and land the imposing defender and watching United fans are begging to see him at Old Trafford next season.
Koulibaly put in an impressive display in the second leg of Napoli’s Europa League tie with Arsenal, despite his side being dumped out at the quarter-final stage.
He could do nothing about Alexandre Lacazette’s stunning opener from a free-kick which put the Gunners 3-0 up on aggregate, nor could he solve their sluggish attacking display.
After a shaky first leg, the defender broke up several attacks and even launched some counter attacking opportunities as he showcased his ability to play out from the back.
It led to United fans hailing him as a must-sign target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the summer as they watched on in awe at his ability.
One fan said they would “spend all the $$$ on him” with others adding he is “so good” and declaring they “need him so bad”.
Some questioned why he was their top target after a tough start to the first leg at the Emirates but United fans felt he had gone some way to making amends and reassessed their opinions.
He is set to attract a wealth of interest and command a huge fee as Napoli look to cash in on around £110million for their star man.
