In the 26-year-old rapper’s new music video with her husband, Offset, Cardi wears plenty of skintight, barely-there ensembles, including a latex look by celebrity favorite Vex.
Cardi B would do anything for “Clout,” including wearing head-to-toe latex.
To get the super sexy lingerie she wears in the video, the star’s stylist Kollin Carter reached out to Vex designer Laura Pulice, who has worked with Cardi and her team since the “Money” musician got started years ago.
For the video, she designed a custom bondage corset, buckled belt, open-faced hood, gloves and yellow leggings, which the Grammy winner wears while inside a mountain of lemons.
From there, the designer created the custom pieces based off what Carter said would fit the vibe. Pulice added that while she’s worked with Cardi for a while, “the turnaround time for celebs is always a challenge. Plus, you work off very limited measurements that you are given, which is also challenging.”
As for how the pop star was able to get in and out of those skintight latex hoods? “There is a zipper in the back!” the designer assured.
