The ‘Baraka’ hitmaker, Akothee, is always receiving trolls over her lifestyle and her family life. One of her daughters, Rue Baby seem to be the only one who is closely following on her mother’s footsteps.
She is always accompanying her in most of her events and they frequently share their fun time and crazy moments.
Rue has hinted that she might be running for Miss Kenya 2019 or Miss Kenya 2020. She revealed this through a question and answer on her Insta stories. On being asked whether she has ever thought of running for miss Kenya, she said; “Yea, I bet I have but I can say timing is everything maybe this year or next.”
She has been on modeling for quite a while. She had even been
named as the best model at the Diaspora Entertainment Awards and Recognition (DEAR) 2018 edition.
The award ceremony was held in Dallas, Texas, USA. Through an Instagram post, Akothee insinuated that discipline had propelled Rue to the success in her modeling career: “Congratulations my love, you girls brought light into my life, discipline is ke5(sic) to success, let me take the opportunity to thank all my fans for the mighty support.”
Rue also won the Face of Nivea modeling competition, to become Nivea’s ambassador for the year 2017/2018.
