Deputy President Dr William Ruto’s Tanga Tanga Movement has more than once hit out at Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju over his latest stand.
The fallout started when Tuju last year said that he was really sympathizing with those who are already thinking of 2022, when he could not himself think of the next day.
The remarks made by Tuju during the funeral of his brother in Siaya got Team Tanga Tanga on the wrong side, and they were out there claiming that Tuju was working for Raila Odinga’s ODM Party.
Things became worse when ODM recently withdrew from Wajir West Parliamentary by-election, with DP Ruto taking credits in the negotiations made.
Tuju came out to tell off the DP, saying that the withdrawal of the ODM candidate in the Wajir by-election was made upon thorough consultations between the leadership of the two Parties.
Tanga Tanga crusaders came out again to lash out at him, with some even calling for his resignation.
He has however dismissed the claims of being an ODM Party mole. He argues that it is the worst form of ethnic profiling, adding that he is not a member of ODM.
