Mohamed Salah’s four-word celebration style explanation

Liverpool claimed his top position yesterday thanks to a left curve strike from the Pharaoh guy Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian showed no respect for his former boss when he stroke between two defenders in the EPL match but it was good revenge to him after fans humiliated the star when they were recorded chanting his name associating him with terrorism.

He was, without doubt, the man of the moment with his stunning second goal as Liverpool beat Chelsea at Anfield.

The Egyptian king fired a rocket beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga to give the Reds a huge win to go back to the top of the Premier League table.

As Anfield erupted, Salah opted for a calm celebration with a pose in front of the fans as he was mobbed by his team-mates.

He was asked about his celebration by Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports after the game and joked: “I’m a yoga man!”

“I don’t know, I just had in my mind immediately to do this. I do yoga”, he continued.

Salah hailed the role of Jordan Henderson in his goal with his run down the line giving him the space to cut inside.

But he also admitted there was some luck involved in his vicious left-footed strike which stunned Kepa to smash the back of the net.

“I go inside, normally I’d shoot with my feet but the inside.”This one I just decided, because it’s far, to swing it with power.

“I was a bit lucky the ball hit the net like that!

“I think the right back or number eight has to move so they make it so the other left back doesn’t know where they can go exactly.

“Hendo does a great job to make it easier for me, so he was part of the goal, of course.”This is part also of our job in the training. I think it’s working well.”
