Babu Owino kicks off project to curb insecurity in his constituency

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has kicked off a project to curb insecurity in his constituency

This comes after the installation of high mast security lights today at vumilia slums in upper savanna ward Embakasi East.

This is the first of four such lights which will be installed in different wards with a view to curbing insecurity in the area.

The lights provide illumination to a diameter of up to 500 meters meaning criminals and thugs will have nowhere to hide while allowing ordinary wananchi the opportunity to peacefully go about their lives.

Babu Owino noted that he is committed to working with the community and the local security agencies to make Embakasi East a twenty four hour economy where people can safely transact business and day to day activities without fear of petty crime.
