While every woman is brought up to anticipate their wedding day, some are open enough to admit that it isn’t the ultimate goal in life and they could live without it.
Radio Presenter Kamene Goro has joined the long list of renown female personalities who have ruled out marriage, after their first attempt went terribly wrong.
There is no denying Kamene is one sultry lass but following her matrimony to her now South African ex-lover which came crashing down, she is not willing to take any more chances, at least for now.
In an interview with TV siren Betty Kyallo, the lass shed more light on her perspective towards life and as it stands, marriage is just not in the cards for her. As a matter of fact, it is something she is not really looking forward to anytime soon after her first disappointment.
“You know the way you have your goals and KPIs (Key performance Indicators), marriage is not one of my KPIs and goals. If it happens great, although it’s not something I can say I am actively working towards” she told Betty Kyallo.
She has since been single for quite a while, although she disclosed that she has had at least two lovers since the infamous break up. There were hints of irony as Kamene was discussing her resolve to Betty as the TV siren who was the interviewer could all but relate to everything her fellow journalist was saying.
Betty has the unenviable cloud which always hover her name in the form of her failed marriage to anchor Dennis Okari who has also since moved on. Also, both Betty and Kamene sealed their marriages in superb, lavish fashion, only for their respective relationships to end in a matter of months.
The last slice of coincidence is the fact that Betty, like her counterpart, is also not very keen on taking a stab at marriage anytime soon as she is still working on herself.
