Woman’s conflicted debt linked with rape of her daughter

A 25-year-old is reported to have been sopped on her tracks while on her way to the shop when a man attacked and raped her.

The 45-year-old suspect on the other hand denied the accusations claiming that he owes the victim’s mother money, and the allegations have been pitted against him because of the debt.

He was accused of committing the murder with an accomplice who escaped.

Six witnesses were put on the stand, leading to Senior Principal Magistrate Harrison Barasa’s ruling that he is guilty.

Mr Shikoli was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
