President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have been forced to cancel the mount Kenya tour that was to take place.
A reliable source has hinted that the duo were forced following the report from intelligence that they might find a rebellion from a team supporting deputy president.
Already Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has been on the front line calling for the fulfillment of the 2013 pact agreement between Uhuru and Ruto.
Ndindi has been on the record saying that Uhuru is trying to sabotage the DP candidature by supporting Mr. Odinga.
“The intelligence department has canceled Uhuru’s meeting in Mount Kenya for fear of hostility,” the source hinted.
Section of politicians allied to the DP lead by Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu has claimed that no one will stop the DP from succeeding Uhuru Kenyatta.
Recently Waititu urged the DP not to listen to doomed voices from the kieleweke group.
“I would like to ask Ruto not to listen to the likes of Maina Kamanda who are out there soiling your name, just be sure that the region will support you including president Uhuru Kenyatta, “Waititu said.
While on a local television, deputy president William Ruto denied allegations that he isn’t in good terms with the president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ruto said that the media is fueling the enmity between the two.
‘President Uhuru Kenyatta is my good friend and we meet frequently so these stories i hear aren’t true,”he said.
He said that president Uhuru Kenyatta has an absolute right to support whom he would wish.
“I can’t dictate to my boss on what to say, he has an absolute right, boss for the Jubilee party we are intact,” he said.
