Tanzanian MP, January Makamba, who doubles up as the country’s minister for Environment has caused a hilarious stir online after demanding that Kenyans surrender Oscar’s Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o in exchange for rains
Few days ago, Kenya Meteorological department announced the country’s rains were stuck in Tanzania due to low pressure to push them upwards in the country.

The announcement which was published on local dailies and online outlets caught the attention of the Tanzanian Environment minister who, in a quick rejoinder, took to his Twitter handle on Thursday evening and hilariously demanded the rare ransom.
Makamba’s tweet on the subject elicited another engagement between the two countries known for taking jibes at each other.
This revelation not only left many Kenyans in awe trying to fathom how that was meteorological possible, but much more disturbed Tanzanians who felt Kenya was being “petty and funny”.
The government official, leading other Tanzanian netizens , seized the opportunity to revive their claim for the Hollywood actress.
In February 2018, Kenya engaged Tanzania in a nasty online spat after the southern neighbours sensationally claimed Lupita belonged to their country and were proud of her success in the Hollywood career.
