‘You’re next!’ Bobi Wine tells Dictator Museveni after Sudan uprising

Firebrand Ugandan politician Robert Kyagulanyi has warned dictator Yoweri Museveni to prepare himself to leave power, just like his fellow dictator Omar Al Bashir.

Al Bashir, a long serving Sudanese dictator and war load was toppled by the country’s military on Thursday after months of protests from citizens.

Tens of thousands of Sudanese took to the streets in the centre of the capital Khartoum in jubilation, dancing and chanting anti-Bashir slogans.

Protesters outside the defence ministry chanted: β€œIt has fallen, we won.”

And Bobi Wine, took to social media to congratulate the people of Sudan for exercising their power.

“All dictators must always remember that they can fool people so many times but they cannot fool all the people all the time. When #PeoplePower is bringing down despotic Field Marshals, then despotic Generals should be put on notice. Power to you, People of Sudan.” Reads the powerful message on Bobi Wine’s Twitter handle.

He shared a picture of Museveni with Al Bashir and former Libyan president Omar Gaddafi with an arrow telling Museveni, you are next.

Bobi Wine, an iconic rapper, rose as the face of opposition in Uganda, after winning the Kyaddondo East MP seat as an Independent candidate.

In August 2018, he was arrested and tortured by Museveni’s forces during a rally in the North-Western town of Arua.

There was an uproar in Kampala and across the world especially in Kenya where activists chanted People Power.

The politician has already declared that he will run against Museveni in 2021 but some people wonder if the hard man can leave power without a revolution.

April 11, is a very important day in the history of Uganda. It is the day the notorious illiterate dictator Idi Amin was toppled.

Can the people power rise again and topple Museveni?
