The Sudan protests that have shaken Al-Bashir was led by a brave student from the Sudan International University.

The 22-year-old lady, Alaa Salah, was pictured reading a poem in front of a crowd that was protesting to the end of Bashir’s 30-year rule.

The poem which was famous in 2008 and 2013 protests read, “Bullets won’t kill us, what will is the silence of people.”

Her chanting and leading the protests was contributed by her practice of presentation in the university.

She had wore a white garment which was made by her mother who is a designer.

Her mother is working at the traditional Sudanese toub as a fashion designer.

The garment has become a symbol of the female protesters, and Salah told international media that she had narrowly escaped arrest when she wore the toub at an earlier demonstration.

This will be an addition to he mother’s fashion skills and will help sell more of her garments since the protests are on the rise.

This follows a similar incident of Uganda’s Bobi Wine who made his red berets a symbol for his Peoples Power party.
