A video is going viral on social media featuring Juventus and Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo was back in Champions League action on Wednesday night against Ajax.
There had been fears that Ronaldo may be unfit for the match in Amsterdam, however Ronaldo was able to start the quarterfinal first leg.
Prior to the game, Ronaldo shared a cute moment with a mascot.
As the players and mascots lined up during the pre-game pomp, Cristiano locked eyes with the boy standing in front of his team mate Leonardo Bonucci.
Cristiano gave the young lad a sweet touch around his face, while the mascot standing in front of Ronaldo flashed a lovely smile too.
Ajax 1 – Juventus 1
Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a hat-trick in the previous round the KO Atletico Madrid, fired Juve ahead in Holland.
On the stroke of halftime Ronaldo broke the deadlock with a diving header in the Ajax box.
Ronaldo has now scored five goals in the Champions League this season.
For the record, Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Barcelona’s Leo Messi lead the goalscoring charts in the Champions League this season with eight goals apiece.
Ajax levelled immediately after the restart.
David Neres scored a goal he’ll never forget, as he single-handedly took on the Juve defence.
After winning possession near the left-touchline, Neres jinked his way into the Juve box before producing a wonderful curling effort into the far corner of the net.
