We should learn a thing or two from our past philosophers. They tried to understand the world and the circumstances that were in,- from a realistic point point of view..Like the photo above. What do you see?A bus fallen into a river or a wild bus drinking water from a river. Whatever you will see will seriously determine the health of your brain.
I have noticed that a bunch of us who are netizens are fond of liking random quotes that are found scattered allover the net without really analyzing the content of the message conveyed therein. Example is given herein, above.
There are those things however that we can can never understand however much we try to think into them. Either our mental muscles are not fully developed, or our scope of grasp is out of reach.
For instance, you cannot truly fathom and explain why your last breakup happened. In African tradition and religion, we had the notion that whatever was bound to happen would happen. If you were to hurt your toe on the edge of a chair or a bed, it would have happened whether you slept in Nairobi and woke up in Abuja!
Having known that therefore, there is no need to overreact and act out of character. It is often difficult to think staright when we are in the extremes of our emotions. Too happy-we might give away more than what we are supposed to give; Too upset-we might end up doing things that are beyond our reason.
The trick therefore is to stay placid, even when the unexpected happens,
What should we then do, even when those we love wrong us? Should we go silent on them? For in Africa we say, ‘even silence has a big boom in it’
Should we pack our bags in haste and leave? For we had a quarrel with our loved ones?
My advise is that we should not be clingy and attached to people or things. For even these shall come to pass.
But remember that whatever you do please…..never ever over react!
