Anne Kansiime lands lucrative deal with East Africa Got Talent

Ugandan female comedian Ann Kansiime has landed a lucrative deal with the recently launched ‘East Africa Got Talent’ reality TV series.

The East African version was launched on Tuesday April 9, 2019 in Nairobi Kenya, and Uganda’s Queen of comedy, Kansiime was unveiled as one of the show hosts.

Former Classic 105 presenter Larry Asego presided over the launch attended by KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua and facilitated by Safaricom.

Kansiime shared the news on her social media page as she rallied all talented East Africans to start perfecting their craft for this big platform.

” Am so happy and excited to announce my association with an iconic show which has been lauded as the world’s most successful reality TV franchise as the Host,” she posted.

This show is expected to run for 10 weeks and will be aired on Citizen TV in Kenya, and other Ugandan TV stations that are yet to confirm.

The competition will be graced with talented people in singing, dancing, comedy, and magic, among others and Contestants, will go through a three-phase competition before getting to the finals.

According to organizers, auditions will be held in the four participating countries, and the winners from the different countries will face off in front of the main judges in Kenya, for the semifinals and finale competition.

Kansiime doubles up as one of the funniest East African female comedians and this is one of her success stories.
