The Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Business and Economics at the Columbia Journalism School on Monday 8, announced ten Knight-Bagehot Fellows for the 2019-2020 academic year, and Larry Madowo was one of them. It also stated the benefits of studying in the institution.
Larry Madowo took to Twitter to make a personal announcement that he has been admitted in Columbia Journalism school in Knight- Bagehot Fellows program, expressing his joy and gratitude

Substantial stipend and full tuition fee
According to publication by Columbia Journalism School, The mid-career journalism fellowships provide full tuition and a living stipend of $60,000 for experienced journalists to take graduate courses at Columbia University, primarily at Columbia’s Schools of Business and Journalism. This is an equivalent of Ksh. 6 Million, to use for 9 months. Every month larry will be pocketing over Kshs. 600,000
Opportunity to attend special Seminars
Fellows also attend special seminars at the Journalism School, led by seasoned journalists, media business executives and a broad range of tech, finance and economics experts during the nine-month program, which begins in August.
