The Kieleweke team against Ruto’s presidential bid has reiterated support on president Uhuru on the fight against graft.
While attending the church service in Nyeri over the Weekend, the team led by Maina Kamanda and Ngunjiri Wambugu said that the corruption is derailing developments across the Country.
The area MP Ngunjiri Wambugu hosted 8 Jubilee MPs, 2 ANC MPs, 2 KANU MPs, and 1 ODM MP to a church event and then a public baraza in town.
The teams’ message was a rallying call in support of Uhuru Kenyatta’s agenda.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta has publicly committed himself to pursue three things, so as to achieve the fourth; which all together ultimately will be his legacy,” they said.
They further said that their main aim is to unite Kenyans to enhance the stable socio-economic and political environment that can sustain positive social, economic and political development.
To aggressively fight corruption so as to ensure national resources are used to support public development and to slay the impunity that makes people believe that corruption is a crime that’s not punishable under the law.
3 To digitize public records to ensure accurate, effective and efficient allocation and management of public resources.
“If we can do the 3 above, then we can achieve the fourth; the Big4. This also means that if you aren’t supporting no’s 1-3 (or any of them) you cannot say you are supporting the President. You also are clearly not supporting the Big4,”Ngunjiri said.
