Gor Mahia have completed the signing of highly-rated Uganda and Tusker FC midfielder Hashim Sempala who has reportedly fallen out with his former, coach Robert Matano.
Sempala is a serial champion who won the Kenyan double with Tusker in 2016.
It has been reported that Gor Mahia coach Hassan Oktay was sold on Sempala from the very first time he saw him play which was earlier this season when Gor Mahia and Tusker face each other.
Oktay immediately told the Gor Mahia hierarchy of his intentions to sign the Ugandan and finally months later he has got his wish.
Sempala is a dominant central midfielder capable of dictating any match he plays in, he has the physical presence
For Gor Mahia, the capture is yet another statement of intent and a message to their rivals in regards to their dominance of the Local Football scene. Gor Mahia are not ready to relinquish their title and the capture of Sempala is enough proof enough!
