Ivy Wangechi a sixth-year student at Moi University school of medicine was today in the morning hacked to death next to The Moi Teaching and Referal Hospital in Eldoret.

The attacker is said to have concealed the two weapons in a gunny bag when he gained entry into the hospital. After the attack, he tried fleeing the scene but was apprehended by Boda Boda operators within the vicinity leaving him with grave injuries.
Emerging Back story is that the two have been lovers constantly dating in the past. It is said the lady had been cheating on the guy with other people leading to the lady contracting HIV AIDS and later infecting the said boyfriend.
Reports indicate that after contracting the deadly virus, the lady did not inform the man and kept taking Anti Retroviral drugs to stay healthy unknown to the guy.
The boyfriend is said to have later found out that the lady was cheating on him and additionally had infected him with the deadly virus. Upon discovery, the man is said to have been consumed by rage hence furiously went out on a hacking spree in a broad daylight
The lady was then rushed to hospital but was pronounced death upon arrival. Police are expected to commenced further investigations into the case as soon as possible.
The sixth-year student was set to graduate in December, according to one of her friends from high school.
