Popular Artiste Esther Akoth alias Akothee has finally revealed that she is now saved.
Speaking in an interview with Kiss 100 on Friday, April 5, the mother of five said that her journey to Turkana where she had taken aid opened her eyes and made her think about salvation.
”Since I came from Turkana I am a new person. People saw me doing gospel in the morning and did not know what this year came with. I got saved, yeah,” she said.
The controversial musician held that she will abide by the gospel but vehemently refused to turn over a new leaf as far as her dress code is concerned.
Akothee said she is saved but will never ever change her ”indecent” dressing because nudity is not a sin as everyone came out of their mothers’ wombs without clothes.
”I got saved but I will not change my dress code. God does not see that as a sin. I came out of my mother’s womb without clothes,” she added.
The news came quite as a surprise to many people, including her fans who never saw the change coming anytime soon.
