Relationships are not the easiest things in the world. When in a relationship you are not only thinking about yourself but you have someone else’s interests at heart.
They are analytical:When intelligent people are faced with situations they tend to pull information from past experiences to determine the outcome. You find that they make decisions ahead of time instead of seeing how situations unfold naturally. This makes it hard for intelligent people to be in a relationship because anytime they sense trouble they try getting out.
They value achievements over a relationship:Whenever intelligent people do well in school or anywhere they use their brain they feel validated. They feel they have control over the areas in their lives where they perform well in. so you find they value that more than relationships, this is because relationships can’t be so easily controlled.
They are too straightforward:Intelligent people say what they think and mean, which sometimes come off as rude. Some situations need to be approached gently but that’s not how they do things, they do not beat around the bush.
People find them intimidating:Some people don’t know if they can live up to intelligent people. They are intimidated by their intelligence and they are worried that they won’t have anything to say or will simply bore them.
They follow their head over their heart:Intelligent people understand what their head is telling them, but the heart is a different story. Intelligent people can’t always explain what their heart feels or even understand what it tries to tell them, so for them it is easier to just ignore it. Therefore this makes it hard for them to be in relationships.
