CAF Cup: Here’s K’Ogalo Starting line up, Oliech new role and Gor Mahia attack in Berkane Confederation Cup clash

Hitman Dennis Oliech has been handed a starting role by head coach Hassan Oktay as Gor Mahia FC welcome RS Berkane for the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals clash at the Kasarani Stadium.

With Rwandese ace, Jacques Tuyisenge suspended, Oliech will pair up with Francis Mustafa to lead the Gor attack while Nicholas Kipkirui – who started in the victory over Petro Atletico – drops to the bench.

Fredrick Odhiambo starts in goal while Geoffrey Ochieng – who scored Gor’s winner against Nzoia Sugar on Monday – will replace suspended Shafiq Batambuze at left back with Philemon Otieno, Joash Onyango and Charles Momanyi completing the backline.

Kenneth Muguna and Francis Kahata will provide the creative legs in a four-man midfield that also has Boniface Omondi and Lawrence Juma.

Gor are without four regular starters including captain Harun Shakava, Ernest Wendo, Tuyisenge and Batambuze as they seek to make a positive first leg step towards a place in the Confederation Cup semi-finals.
