Deputy President Dr William Samoei Ruto is now a happy man. The DP woke up early Saturday morning to take his celebrations to Twitter. Ruto could not hide his joy in the celebration of David Ochieng and Julius Mawathe’s victory in the just concluded Ugenya and Embakasi South Constituency by-elections.
In both the two Constituencies, it was a two horse race. In Embakasi South, the Raila Odinga-led ODM candidate Irshad Muhammed Sumra battled out with Wiper’s Julius Musili Mawathe.
In Ugenya Constituency, ODM’s Chris Karan battled out with David Ochieng. The ODM candidates in both Constituencies lost in the election that was held on Friday April 5, 2018.
In Embakasi South, Sumra has conceded defeat and Congratulated Julius Mawathe for the Victory.
