Hazard’s time at Chelsea comes to an end

Eden Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012 from Ligue 1 outfit, LOSC Lille.

Since then Hazard has gone on to become quite a club legend at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian has played 341 games across all competitions for the Blues, in which he has scored 106 and assisted 87.

Hazard has also helped Chelsea to two league titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup.

The 28-year-old is also enjoying perhaps his best ever season in London.

In 31 league outings, Hazard has found the net 14 times and assisted 12.

Real Madrid to land their man

It is partly this form that may have attracted the interest of Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane has once again taken the hot seat at the Bernabeu.

Zidane is said to have been an admirer of Hazard for some time now and since he returned to Madrid the rumours about Hazard moving to Spain have skyrocketed.

Now, according to Spanish outlet Marca, Hazard is set to sign for Los Blancos in the coming days.

Zidane reportedly agreed to the transfer last week as he looks to rebuild Madrid’s squad.

Real have struggled this season since both Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo departed in the summer.

They are out of all cup competitions and are well behind Barcelona in the La Liga title race.

Madrid have already completed the signing of Eder Militao from FC Porto.
