Following the murder of a Kirinyaga University student on Tuesday evening, police have arrested 10 suspects.
The student was reported to have been murdered while walking to the hostels. He was stabbed to death while the peers he was with were robbed of their property.
The murder aroused rage from the student body, causing them to protest, demanding better security.
Kirinyaga County Commissioner Samson Onjwang said that they have made the arrest amid investigations into the murder.
