Kenya airports authority has cationed customers from using terminal 1C (T1C) that has been temporarily cordoned off and it’s flight operations moved to Terminal 1B (T1B) after a fire incident at JKIA Terminal 1C’s Check-inn counters 7 and 8 was caused by a baggage belt system malfunction.
Flight operations at the International Airport , Nairobi were however not halted when fire broke out in the terminal.
All the passengers and staff at the terminal were evacuated safely by the airport’s fire team with no injuries reported throughout the incident.
