“In spite of some technical challenges, we have captured the details of over 150,000 people in the ongoing biometric registration across the country. We’re analysing our operation cycle with a view to making up for any time lost.”

In a statement seen by Daily Active, Dr Kibicho stated that the government is analysing the operations in order to make up for any time lost.

On Wednesday, hundreds of Baringo county residents who had turned up for Huduma Namba registration were turned away after the NIIMS system failed

Other areas whose NIIMS failed to work include Mlango Moja, Iloti, SegutonTorongo, Khaoya and Poror.

The registration exercise in Kisumu was suspended on Wednesday.

Registration officials failed to show up at the designated stations on Wednesday.

According to the Kisumu County Commissioner Pauline Dola, crucial documents needed to facilitate the 45-day exercise were missing forcing them to postpone it.
